Hey guys!
Here comes the long-awaited, first ski weekend of the season in the Swiss Alps! Rest assured, your ESN UNIL & EPFL committees have been bending over backwards to organize an AWE-SOME weekend for you!!! We're taking you to Zinal, in the Valais Alps, for three days of madness!
The goal of the weekend? Fun above all, but also an amicable competition between the two sections. You will face each other in merciless challenges throughout the weekend. On the slopes with 2 full days of skiing (beginners will be accompanied), as well as on many fun activities and during two parties on the theme of the « Olympic Games » and « Masked Ball ». You will get points throughout the week-end for every activity so that at the end we can announce the great winner of the ESN WINTER GAMES!
In addition, for the EPFL students, this will be your opportunity to show your skills on the slopes during the RACE on Sunday and win your place for CHALLENGE 17, the awesome competition between EPFL and ETHZ!
The price includes:
- Round trip transportation by bus from Lausanne
- Accommodation
- Ski passes for 2 days
- All the week-end activities
- Meals
You will have to bring with you:
- a sleeping bag (+ pillowcase)
- a towel
- slippers (no shoes allowed in the chalet!)
- your ski/snowboard equipment and sun protection
- your 2 disguises for the two parties
Do not waste time because spots are limited to 55 students for EPFL and 43 students for UNIL. First come first served as one says.
Don't forget that you can rent your ski/snowboard equipment in Lausanne, if you need some. You won't have time to do this in Zinal and it is also way more expensive over there. ESN has a deal with the Sport Discount shop in Lausanne so that you can have a great price to rent your equipment (Rue de Genève 17, 1003 Lausanne).

Voici venue l’heure du tant attendu premier weekend de ski dans les Alpes suisses! Soyez rassurés, vos comités ESN UNIL & EPFL se sont pliés en quatre pour vous préparer un week-end MÉ-MO-RA-BLE!!! On vous emmène à Zinal, dans les Alpes valaisannes, pour 3 jours de folie!
Le but du week-end? Le plaisir avant tout, mais aussi l'occasion de participer à une compétition amicale entre l’EPFL et l’UNIL. Vous serez confrontés les uns aux autres dans des épreuves sans merci et ce tout au long du week-end! Autant sur les pistes, avec 2 jours complets de ski (cours de ski pour les débutants inclus), qu’hors des pistes avec plein d’activités que nous vous avons concocté. Des apéros et deux soirées sur les thèmes des « Jeux Olympiques » et du « Bal Masqué » sont également prévues. Selon vos performances personnelles et par équipe, vous gagnerez des points tout au long du week-end et à la fin nous pourrons déterminer les grands vainqueurs de ces ESN Winter Games!
Pour les étudiants de l'EPFL, ce sera aussi l'occasion de prouver vos talents sur les pistes pendant la RACE du dimanche pour gagner une place pour CHALLENGE 17, l’incroyable compétition entre l’EPFL et l’ETHZ!
Le prix comprend:
- le transport aller-retour en car depuis Lausanne
- le logement
- toutes les activités du week-end
- les forfaits de ski des 2 jours
- les repas
De votre côté, il vous faudra amener:
- votre sac de couchage (+ taie d'oreiller)
- linge/serviette et affaires de toilettes
- chaussons/pantoufles (pas de chaussures dans le chalet!)
- votre matériel de ski/snowboard et de la crème solaire
- votre déguisement pour les 2 soirées
Ne perdez pas de temps car le nombre de place est limité à 55 étudiants pour l’EPFL et 43 pour l’UNIL.
Pour ceux qui ont besoin de louer du matériel (ski/snow), nous vous conseillons vivement de le louer à Lausanne avant le départ, car vous n’aurez pas le temps de le louer à Zinal et cela vous reviendra moins cher qu’en station. ESN a un deal avec Sport Discount à Lausanne (Rue de Genève 17, 1003 Lausanne).
