Join us for this amazing weekend trip to Lucerne! It will be a National event with around 200 exchange students from all over Switzerland, so you can explore Central Switzerland together with your collegues from other universities. Lucerne is situated in the centre of Switzerland, on the shore of the “Lake of the Four Cantons”, and is home of the myth of Wilhelm Tell. It’s the region where the Swiss Confederation has been founded, thus there is a lot of Swiss culture and traditions to be discovered!

WHO: The event is mainly for exchange students, however we accept a certain number of other students and externs, so you may bring your friends with you.
REGISTRATION:
>EPFL students: The registration starts on Monday, October 17th, 12:00 - 13:00 in the ESN EPFL office, which is the room next to the Agepoly office. Please try to come on that day, some people of the committee will also be there to answer your questions. After that, you can also register at the Agepoly office: http://plan.epfl.ch/?room=MEC1398.1
Please note that there will be no refund in case you cancel your registration!
> UNIL students : at our office, Anthropole 1128.1, on Monday, October 17th until Friday, October 21th, from 12 to 1 pm.
> CHUV students : at AEML office (08.500), on Tuesday, October 18th and Thursday, October 20th, from 12.15 to 1.30 pm.
> HEP students : from Monday 17th, send us an email at webmaster@unil.esn.ch and we will send you the PayPal form. Please also indicate if you have the ESN card or not. Take note that the spots for the HEP will be attributed on a first sent first served basis.
WHAT TO BRING:
Pic-nic for Satrurday
Warm clothes, comfortable shoes, raincoat, etc…
Everything else you need for 1 week-end :)
You will have to give 2 priorities for the sunday trip when you subscribe.

On Sunday: Excursion of your choice:
The visit of Rigi, which is called the Queen of The Mountains and from which you have a great view over the “Vierwaldstättersee” (Lake of the Four Cantons)
The visit of the Cheese factory where you can learn about one of Switzerland’s specialities
The visit of the Kirsch factory: who doesn’t want to see how a little red berry becomes a delicious drink!
The visit of the Swiss Bunker: discover more about the Swiss army
The transport museum of Lucerne: An interactive museum to learn a lot about history and the present of transportation in Switzerland
Boat trip to the Rütli (place where the Confederation has been founded) to learn about the national hero Willhelm Tell

>Etudiants EPFL: Les inscriptions commencent lundi 17 octobre à 12:00 - 13:00 au bureau d’ESN EPFL (la salle à côté du bureau Agepoly). Essaies de passer ce jour là, quelques personnes du comité seront là pour répondre à tes questions. Après, tu pourras toujours t’inscrire comme d’habitude au bureau de l’Agepoly: http://plan.epfl.ch/?room=MEC1398.1

Show de Cors de Alps

Party dans un club
Excursion du dimanche (tu dois en choisir 2):
• La visite du Rigi, la Montagne Mère qui donne une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac
• La visite de la Fromagerie où tu pourras en apprendre plus sur l’une des spécialités Suisse
• La visite de la distillerie de Kirsh : qui ne veut pas voir comment un petit fruit tout rond devient une boisson délicieuse
• La visite du Bunker Swiss : découvre l’armée suisse
• La visite du musée des Transports de Lucerne : c’est un incroyable et important musée interactif qui t’apprendra beaucoup au sujet de l’histoire et des actualités sur les transports en Suisse
• Un voyage en bateau d’environ 2 heure sur le Lac des Quatres Cantons, suivit par une marche dans la fameuse prairie du Grütli (l’endroit où la Confédération a été fondée) pour apprendre plus au sujet de notre héros national Guillaume Tell et obtenir une vue magnifique.
Tu as l’embarras du choix, mais sois à l’heure lundi, car les places par groupe sont limitées ! Alors si toi aussi tu es enthousiaste à l’idée de découvrir de nouveaux endroits et de faire pleins de rencontres super cool, ne loupe pas ta chance pour t’inscrire !
