How to register

 

Purchasing tickets for the Welcome Week is a two-step process. First, you have to fill in the registration form (which will be available Monday 12th January at 13:00 CET). Once that is done, the second step is the payment (which will be available Wednesday 14th January at 13:00 CET). We describe below the two steps in greater detail.

 

Registration process

 

The registration link will be available on our website. The registration form may take a few minutes to fill out because we ask you to provide a lot of information. You will be asked to provide personal details, information about food allergies, and other relevant data that will help us organize the event effectively. This data will only be accessible to the organising committee of the Welcome Week and will never be transmitted to third parties.

 

Filling in the registration form does not guarantee your spot for the Welcome Week! It will be reserved only when your payment is accepted.

 

Payment process

 

Please note that although the sales page might be accessible before January 14th, payments will not be available until that date. Be aware that if you click on the payment button before January 14th, you might lose the contents of your basket.

 

As soon as you have filled in everything, you can pay by credit card online or by Twint. Please make sure the desired packages were correctly selected on the summary before proceeding to payment. If you pay by card, your purchases are reserved for 15 minutes until your payment is received.

 

Important

 

  • You are required to be 18 years or older to take part in the Welcome Week
  • Spots are limited and assigned on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Your registration is completed only once your payment is received.
  • Once your tickets are purchased, no refund is possible.
  • You are not allowed to buy more than one spot per email address, so you cannot pay for your friends, everyone has to register individually.

 

Telegram account

 

We highly recommend that you already create a Telegram account before sales open.

 

First install the Telegram app on your phone and create an account. Once that is done, you should be able to see and edit your username by going to “Settings”, clicking on “Edit” (usually in the top right corner of the screen), and then going to “Username”. Note that your username might be empty initially. If that is the case, just click on the text field and create your own username.

 

Your Telegram username is important for us to put you in a Telegram group with other Erasmus students, who will be your teammates for the week. Without this username, you cannot be assigned to a team and participate in the different activities organized. You will participate and compete with your team in the daily events organized through the week. Moreover, most of our communication will be done through your team’s channel. 

 

VERY IMPORTANT : Please do not set your account to private mode or we will not be able to add you to your team group (Settings => Privacy and Security => Invites => Everybody).
