Thrilled to discover new movies? Come and join us to enjoy the projection of the amazing film Pictures of Ghosts in Nyon for the 55th edition of the Festival Visions du Réel. Since 1969, the Festival Visions du Réel presents a majority of films as world or international premieres and constitutes an essential platform for film professionals who meet there every year. This year, we will have the chance to watch Pictures of Ghosts for its Swiss Premiere, so don’t miss this opportunity!
Pictures of Ghosts is a journey through time and the history of cinema. The filmmaker, Kleber Mendonça Filho, films his way through the alleyways of his home city, Recife, Brazil. He maps this territory stopping along the way at the iconic cinemas of yesterday, most of which have now disappeared. This film celebrates the ability of cinema to give us a glimpse into eternity.

The projection will be at 4:30 pm in Capitole Leone, Nyon. We will meet at 3 pm at the EPFL métro station in order to go to Nyon all together. After the projection, we prepared a little apéro at the beach to enjoy the good weather and the golden hour!
