Hello everyone !
You came to Switzerland for its mountains and want to enjoy skiing while there is still snow? Don't wait and join our only ski week-end of the semester ! This one is like no other as we are spending this amazing week-end with ESN Zurich and ESN Geneva! This is your chance to meet Erasmus students from all around Switzerland
The week-end will take place in Thyon 4 vallées and here is an overview of what the 3 days will look like!
On Friday, we will arrive around 6:00 pm at the chalet to pick the rooms, play board games, and meet the people from ESN Zurich. After dinner, there will be the possibility to go party in town for the most motivated ones. However, going to bed early is an option for those who came to enjoy a full day/week-end of skiing.
Saturday after skiing you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy après skis and relax until dinner.
In the evening, those who want can move with us to a pub where we made some deals. We will meet ESN Geneva who are also staying in a chalet in Thyon.
For those not skiing there will also be the possibility to hike around the village, rent a sledge or do any other activity feasible in a ski resort. Will give more information about the different activities around the chalet later for those that are interested.
Finally, on Sunday there will also be the possibility to ski or to other activities around the chalet until around 5 pm when we will take the transport to go back to Lausanne.
Important info: The price doesn’t take into account the skis rentals, which can be rented in Lausanne or Thyon:
In Thyon, it is about 72 francs for the whole equipment for 2 days (ski, helmet, poles, shoes) and 39 CHF for 1 day.
We will try to negotiate to lower prices; however, we need to know how many people will ski 1, 2, or 0 days to do that. (so we will inform later if we get a lower price)
There is also the option of renting at Aubert Sport (Rue de la Pontaise 30, 1018 Lausanne) for 50 francs for the weekend. However, you need to go get the equipment yourself.
