Greetings hiking enthusiasts!
We are thrilled to invite you to join us on an incredible weekend in the picturesque car-free village of Zermatt, Switzerland. This event is perfect for those who wish to marvel at the beauty of the Swiss Alps, enjoy scenic hikes, and capture stunning photos of the iconic Matterhorn.
On Saturday we will hike along a part of the 5 Lakes trail offering beautiful views of the Matterhorn. The easy hike is about 8.5 km with 370 m of elevation gain. It includes a ride on an alpine railway costing an extra 10 CHF. The intermediate hike is about 12.2 km with 760 m of elevation gain.
After the hike we will come back to the Hostel to have a nice dinner with the option to hang out after at a bar (or even a club ) in town for the motivated ones.
Sunday we will do an easier hike around Zermatt or you are free to explore on your own. However, we might also offer a harder hike lower in the valley for the really motivated hikers.
Take good shoes and dress according to the weather.

The price includes the train tickets (for those who don’t have an AG) + the night at the hostel (breakfast included) + dinner on Saturday night + snacks + drinks + lots of fun!
