Dear exchange students,
As they say, "Exchange is not one year in your life, but your life in one year" - and we agree!
However, between the logistics and sorting out your own feelings, going on exchange can be quite daunting...
On the 16th May after class, the UNIL Mobility office (SASME) is organizing an apero for all local students from UNIL who will go on exchange abroad next semester. As graduates of the class of "I applied for an exchange, preparations were a mess but hey, I made it! " you are all cordially invited to join them for some drinks and discussions on what going on exchange feels like. Some of these local students may even be going to your home university next year, so be ready for some questions - it's fine if you don't have all the answers, don't worry :D
No formal presentation (or knowledge of French) is expected. Just come over to have a few drinks and meet the next generation of exchange students!

Chers étudiant-e-s en échange,
Comme on dit, "Un échange universitaire ce n'est pas un an dans ta vie, mais ta vie en un an" - et nous sommes bien d'accord!
Cependant, entre les problèmes logistiques et ses propres émotions, partir en échange peut être un vrai challenge...
Le 16 mai, après les cours, le SASME organise un apéro pour les étudiants locaux de l'UNIL qui partiront en échange le semestre prochain. En tant que "survivant-e" aux préparatifs et à tous les imprévus qu'un échange peut comporter, tu es cordialement invité-e à les rejoindre autour d'un verre pour une discussion sur les challenges et les joies de partir en échange. Certain-e-s de ces étudiant-e-s partiront même peut-être dans ton université, alors sois prêt pour leur question - c'est pas grave si tu n'as pas toutes les réponses :D
Pas de présentation formelle ou autre, viens seulement rencontrer la prochaine génération d'étudiant-e-s en échange autour d'un apéro!
