Hello everyone !
Join us for a crazy and intensive trip in Sion !
Sion is the capital of the canton of Valais. Located in the center of the Swiss Alps, Sion offers us a stunning view over the mountains and its’ vineyards. Join us on this trip in which we will discover the beauty of Sion’s ancient city, St. Léonard’s underground lake and some of the delicious wines of Valais.
The meeting point is at 8 am at EPFL, Avenue Picard, underneath the building. We will arrive in St. Léonard at 9h50 to start our day by visiting its underground lake which, by the way, is the biggest underground lake of Europe. Afterwards, we will continue our trip to Sion that we will reach at 11h20 approximately. The castle of Tourbillon will be our next stop. We will be able to visit it and have our picnic while enjoying the amazing view over the Alps that the castle offers us. At 2 pm we will discover some wines of Valais through a wine tasting at the “cave des sans terre”. We will finish by visiting the main places of the city and we will give you some free time if it's possible.
The places are limited, so register fast !
Don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes and a pic-nic.

Bonjour à tous !
Rejoignez-nous pour une folle et intense journée à Sion!
Sion est la capitale du canton du Valais. Située en plein coeur des alpes suisses, Sion nous offre une magnifique vue sur les montagnes et ses terrains viticoles. Rejoins nous dans cette escapade afin de découvrir les merveilles de sa vieille ville, le lac souterrain de St.Léonard et quelques uns des délicieux vins valaisans.
Le rendez-vous est à 8h à l’EPFL, Avenue Picard, entre le métro et le Rolex. Nous allons arriver à St.Léonard vers 9h50 afin de visiter son lac souterrain qui est d’ailleurs le plus grand d’Europe. Après cette première visite nous arriverons à Sion à 11h20. Nous allons poursuivre notre découverte par la visite du Château de Tourbillon où nous aurons l’opportunité de manger notre pic-nic tout en profitant d’une vue extraordinaire sur les Alpes. A 14h nous avons rendez-vous dans la “cave des sans terre” afin de faire une dégustation des vins Valaisans. Nous allons finir par une visite des endroits principaux de la ville et du temps libre si le timing nous le permet. Nous reviendrons aux alentours de 19h.
Les places sont limitées, donc inscrivez vous rapidement !
N’oubliez pas de prendre des chaussures confortables et votre pic-nic.
