> UNIL students : at UNIL office, Anthropole 1128.1, from Monday 16.10 to Friday 20.10, between 12 and 1 pm
> CHUV students : At AEML office (08.500) on Tuesday 17.10 and on Thursday 19.10 from 12:10 to 1:15 pm
> HEP students : First fill out the following Google Form (tba here). Once you receive a confirmation email you can pay through e-banking using the following IBAN : CH6109000000177697131 and stating the following in the motive of payment : *event name*, your name and surname and the following code : HEPA17. Your registration will only be valid if you pay at least 2 days prior to the event.
*** Payment through e-banking is reserved for HEP students exclusively (any other attempt to pay through banking will not qualify as a valid registration).

WHAT TO BRING: A pic-nic for lunch Saturday, warm clothes, sunglasses, camera, pocket money in case you want to buy some souvenirs, toothbrush, a small towel, etc.

Have you ever heard of the gorgeous city called Lucerne? Have you ever felt like going on a trip with over 190 other students from all over the world? Then don’t miss this year’s Lucerne Trip!

A city with only 80,000 inhabitants, Lucerne’s vast amount of visitors and tourists may come as a surprise at first (punches way above its weight in terms of visitor appeal and number of tourists). However, its visitor appeal is due to its picture-perfect location right at Lake Lucerne, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, which give it a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. As well as a very well-preserved historical town centre, there are old town squares, intriguing churches and one of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe. Doesn’t this sound like a must-see destination?!

You have the chance to visit all of these places and its beautiful surrounding nature at this year’s ESN Switzerland Lucerne trip!

Right after your arrival on Saturday, you will have the chance to get to know all the important sights of the city through a brief, guided tour. On this tour you will, for example, cross over the 14th-century wooden bridge known as the “Kapellbrücke” and you will visit the Lion Monument, a 10-metre-long statue of a dying lion carved out of a rock. After a short lunch break we will continue to our hostel, where we will have a privately organized surprise concert. After the concert you will have a little free time until dinner. After some pre-drinks we will head to one of the biggest clubs in Lucerne.

On Sunday after breakfast, we will check out of the hostel. Then you will have to chance to go on an excursion. In the morning, you will have the opportunity to see the Lake Lucerne from a different angle and enjoy the fantastic mountain views on a boat ride on one of Lucerne’s lovely boats. After lunch in an Italian restaurant in the centre of Lucerne, you will be able to experience which type of sweets Swiss people like most. At the chocolate factory you will have the chance to experience the taste of chocolate with all your senses and discover the secrets around the origin and production of chocolate. At the factory, you will be given the option to create your own chocolate for 5.- Fr. Non-obligatory of course!

As-tu déjà entendu parler de la merveilleuse ville de Lucerne? Est-ce que ça te tente d’aller la visiter en compagnie de 190 étudiants venus du monde entier? Si c’est le cas, ne loupe pas notre incroyable week-end à Lucerne!

Avec seulement 80,000 habitants, Lucerne est une des villes préférées de tourists. Baignée par les eaux du Lac de Lucerne et entourée par des imposantes montagnes, Lucerne propose à ses visiteurs des paysages majestueux et inoubliables. Sa vieille ville très bien préservée, nous offre une architecture unique et splendide avec des quartiers d'époque, d’églises mystérieuses et l’un des plus anciens ponts d’Europe. Définitivement une destination séduisante!

Cette année tu as la chance de visiter tous ces endroits épatants et de profiter de ses sublimes paysages avec le week-end à Lucerne organisé par ESN Suisse.

Après ton arrivée à Lucerne samedi matin, tu auras l’opportunité de connaître les endroits le plus importants de la ville à travers une visite guidée. Par exemple, tu pourras traverser son fameux pont en bois, plus connu sous le nom de “Kapellbrücke” qui date du 14ème siècle ou son monument du Lion; une sculpture de 10 mètres qui se situe en pleine ville. Par la suite, nous ferons une courte pause pour prendre le repas de midi et après nous allons nous rendre à l’auberge où nous avons organisé un concert surprise pour toi. En suite tu auras un peu de temps libre avant le souper. La nuit nous irons à l’une des discothèques la plus grande de Lucerne.

Dimanche après avoir pris le petit-déjeuner, nous allons faire le check-out de l’auberge et partirons pour une excursion. Le matin, tu pourras admirer le Lac de Lucerne et ses magnifiques montagnes qui l’entourent à travers un tour en bateau. Après dîner dans un restaurant italien situé au centre ville, nous allons partir à la découverte d’un des plus grands trésors suisses; le chocolat!. Nous allons visiter une fabrique de chocolat dans laquelle tu auras pourras faire une dégustation de chocolat et ainsi découvrir tous les secrets qui entourent son origin et sa production. Dans la fabrique, si tu le veux tu as l’option de créer ton propre chocolat pour 5.- Fr. supplémentaires.
