REGISTRATION :
> UNIL students : at UNIL office, Anthropole 1128.1, from Monday 02.10 to Thursday 05.10, between 12 and 1 pm
> CHUV students : At AEML office (08.500) on Tuesday 03.10 from 12:10 to 1:15 pm
> HEP students : First send an email to president@unil.esn.ch stating your wish to register and the event name. Once you receive a confirmation email you can pay through e-banking using the following IBAN : CH6109000000177697131 and stating the following in the motive of payment : *event name*, your name and surname and the following code : HEPA17. Your registration will only be valid if you pay at least 2 days prior to the event.
*** Payment through e-banking is reserved for HEP students exclusively (any other attempt to pay through banking will not qualify as a valid registration).

WHAT TO BRING : A pic-nic for lunch Saturday, a WATER BOTTLE, warm clothes, sunglasses, a hat and VERY GOOD SHOES TO WALK. NO OPEN SHOES (we reserve the right to deny your participation for safety reasons if the shoes are inapropriate). Toothbrush, a small towel, etc.

WARNING: Not recommended for people who suffer from vertigo (especially the sunday hike)

NOTE: You WILL be walking with your bag so make sure to pack a bag that YOU are ABLE to carry! NO SUITCASES!

Hello everybody !

You are invited to join us on our first amazing excursion in Zermatt. The 5-Seenweg (Five Lakes Walk) is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Zermatt area. The view of the turquoised-water mountain lakes (with the Matterhorn reflected in three of them) is breathtaking, even to us locals! If you’re lucky, you might even see some marmots !

We’re going to take a bus and a train to go up to Zermatt and then a cable car before we start walking. This is an intermediate level hike, you don’t have to be athletic but be sure to be in good shape. Don’t forget to bring hiking shoes, warm clothes, sunglasses and enough food and water for the whole day. At night we'll be staying at a Youth Hostel where we'll have dinner and an evening activity. The next day we'll be going to Randa and crossing the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge!

The weather up in the mountains can be pretty unpredictable, so we're going to keep a close eye on it during the coming week and keep you posted on the event in case the weather forces a change of plans!

This will be an unforgettable hike, so be sure to bring your camera!

ATTENTION!: Pas recommandé pour les personnes qui ont le vertige (surtout la marche du dimanche)

NOTE: La marche se fera AVEC les sac-à-dos, du coup soyez sûr d'être capable de PORTER votre sac tout au long de la marche! PAS DE VALISES SVP!

Bonjour à tous !

Nous vous invitons à nous rejoindre pour notre première excursion incroyable à Zermatt. La 5-Seenweg (randonnée des cinq lacs) est une des plus belles randonnées de la région de Zermatt. La vue sur les lacs de montagne à l’eau turquoise (avec le Cervin reflété dans trois d’entre eux) est à couper le souffle, même pour les Suisses ! Vous aurez peut-être même la chance de croiser des marmottes !

Nous prendrons un bus et en train pour monter à Zermatt, puis un funiculaire pour rejoindre le départ de la randonnée. C’est une marche de niveau intermédiaire, vous n’avez donc pas besoin d’être très sportifs, mais soyez sûrs d’être en forme.

N’oubliez pas de prendre de bonnes chaussures de marche, des vêtements chauds, des lunettes de soleil et assez de nourriture et d’eau pour toute la journée.

Le soir nous dormirons à l'auberge de jeunesse à Zermatt, où nous allons manger le repas du soir et une activité sera organisée. Le lendemain nous irons à Randa traverser le plus long pont suspendu pédestre du monde!

Le temps en montagne peut être imprévisible, donc nous allons surveiller de près la météo durant cette semaine. Nous vous tiendront au courant si le temps nous force à changer le planning!

Nous vous recommandons fortement d’amener un appareil photo, pour capturer les plus beaux instants de ce week-end inoubilable !
