Dear exchange community
Get ready to discover yet another one of Switzerland’s lovely cities! On the occasion of “Rendez-vous Bundesplatz”, ESN is going to Bern, Switzerland’s capital!
For those who don’t already know, Rendez-vous Bundesplatz is an annual spectacle of light, turning the Bundeshaus (the Swiss parliament building) into an enormous screen. This year’s theme is “First Step” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. You do not want to miss that!
We take this event as an opportunity to discover Bern: The program includes a visit to the Bundeshaus (it’s open days), a city rally that will bring you to the city’s major sights (Bärengraben, Berner Münster & many more), and a “degustation” of mulled wine provided by ESN Bern.
Last but not least: we’re not going alone! Basel, Fribourg and even Zürich are also sending a delegation. Great chance to meet your fellow Erasmus students and share your experiences.

Préparez-vous pour la prochaine découverte des charmantes villes Suisses ! A l’occasion de “Rendez-vous Bundesplatz”, ESN se rendra à Berne, la capitale Suisse !
C’est quoi Rendez-vous Bundesplatz, vous demandez ? Ben, c’est un spectacle de lumière annuel qui transformera le Palais Fédéral (Bundeshaus) en un immense écran géant. Le thème de cette année sera “First Step” pour célébrer les cinquante ans de l'atterrissage d’Apollo 11 sur la Lune. A ne pas rater !
Nous saisissons l’occasion pour découvrir Bern : Le programme comprend une visite du Palais Fédéral (c’est la journée portes ouvertes), un rallye en ville qui t’emmènera aux sites touristiques majeurs (Bärengraben, Berner Münster et plusieurs autres) et une “dégustation” de vin chaud fourni par ESN Berne.
Last but not least : on n’y va pas seuls ! Bâle, Fribourg et même Zurich enverront une délégation. C’est l’occasion idéale pour rencontrer d’autres étudiants en échange et partager vos expériences.
