★WHAT? Seeing the traditional Sion Carnival, visiting the two beautiful castles of Valère and Tourbillon and experiencing the festive atmosphere of the Carnival in the old town of Sion. The event includes the trip from Lausanne to Sion both ways, or one way if you wish to enjoy more of the famous street Carnival party. A guided tour of castle of Tourbillon, the Carnival parade and a break to explore the town by yourself.

★WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Pack your lunch, some water. Bring warm and waterproof clothes, comfortable shoes (we will be walking up and down some steps for the castles). You should also bring a warm hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (it’s always sunny in Sion). And a piece of Carnival costume if you like but it should stay convenient for visiting and sightseeing.

★Que dois-je amener?
Amène ton pick-nique.
Porte des habits chaud et étanche, de bonnes chaussures (comme si tu allais rester dehors toute la journée et la colline des châteaux peut être venteuse). Un bonnet, des lunettes de soleil, la crème solaire est aussi recommandée (il y a toujours du soleil en Valais). Vous pouvez aussi prendre une pièce de costume de Carnaval tant qu’elle reste adéquate pour visiter et marcher.
